My late grandmother, Marjorie Smith OAM,
a founding member of Dee Why Ladies' Amateur Swimming Club,
Warringah Amateur Swimming Association and
New South Wales Swimming Association
had nothing but respect and admiration for Dawn Fraser.
I was delighted that she was elevated to the highest level
of the Order of Australia and
made an AC in the 2018 Queen's Birthday Honours List.


Suicide in Australia is plaguing communities.
